PHILOSOPHY

To live the “Way” that is Kazuyasu Minobe.
With my soul always ablaze, I want to devote my whole life to mastering this “Way”.
Fencing is the “Way” into which I am pouring my whole heart and soul right now, and I keep pressing on toward ever greater heights.
Yet across the span of a life, fencing is not the only Way.
There can be many Ways that weave together who I am.
Whatever moves my soul, I want to pursue to the very end.
As the world has moved through the agricultural, industrial and information revolutions into the age of AI and smartphones,
and amid a great wave in which people’s choices grow ever more diverse and complex,
I believe we are entering an era in which value is found in how a person lives.
What did I achieve?
So that, when my life is over, the path I have made
will be remembered as Kazuyasu Minobe, I will keep forging this “Way”.
